What are you unwilling to feel?
The answer to this question might hold an important key.
The asking of it requires respect, self compassion, spaciousness.
What feeling have you locked down – hidden in the deepest corners of your psyche?
Where, like radioactive waste, it has occasion to pollute happy moments randomly.
Perhaps in feeling fully the weight, you might conceive that you do not have the fortitude to cope. Better then to seal it even tighter in the deluded hope that you might never have to.
If there is a lesson from walking Earth for decades, it is that what we are unwilling to feel will feel us. Eventually.
And that in the embrace of what we for so long denied, we find our liberation.
