Between doing and not doing
This is the tension. The urge to create, to move, to act, to build, to do.
And the desire to be still, to pause, to not do.
In our not doing we affirm that everything, including us, is perfectly imperfect as it is.
And in our doing we affirm that we, one person, can make a difference.
Wisdom lives in the space between. To generate this space requires doing and not doing to be held as necessary.
Our acuity of attending to both the doing and non-doing enables the space to hold shape for the pattern of our lives to emerge, for our art, our gifts, our love, to fill the field.
