We have a world where one man, elected by capitalism, unelected by people, can make decisions about the future of humanity with a single stroke, based on whim, personal preference or whatever the mood of the day is.
Behind this tweet is the larger story or power. It is this power that Trump craves. That the autocrats have gained in their respective countries. Putin. Lukashenko.
We do not need to fear nuclear weapons, although they are still a real threat.
We do need to fear the power of the monopolists and technocrats.
They can turn the switch just like that.
