How many properties does it take to light up a soul?
This question was raised in a conversation yesterday.Â
We were speaking about people of high financial wealth. “I own all of those buildings.”Â
Why? What is the point of owning all of those buildings? To make more money? To increase your portfolio? To be able to say – I own all of those buildings?Â
Accumulation for accumulation’s sake. Making money from money without adding any value to anyone else.
Hollow acts to feed a hungry ghost.
Knowing why we do something, clearly choosing to do something that nourishes us at the soul level, is to become a channel for life, joy, generosity.
The word wealth comes from the root wel, which means well-being.
Real wealth enriches every corner of our soul while bringing light to those our soul connects with.
