Into our dark places
Falling down
Into the arms of a field of soft green grass.
Falling up
Into the sky of downy clouds.
Falling hard
Slipping and falling into our dark places, the dangerous alleys of our psyche where we are wounded and broken, where the effluence of despair clings to our skin.
We forget, again, that we are not that which is broken. We are not our emotions and our pain. Our failures and insecurities.
We are this sunrise.
Fall into the arms of the sunrise, and beauty.
It restores us to right relationship with ourselves.
