It is difficult to learn if you already know
In a world awash with information, much of it a stinking rot or manufactured drama, it is hard to source information that seeks to represent truth while also keeping the reader’s mind open.
We must be vigilant of our immovable blocks. Those places that have taken such root in our beliefs that we refuse to question them.
Even more, to notice when we fight and cling. Our desperation for our worldview to remain the more pressing concern than truth.
The work for all of us is to constantly challenge our fixed positions.
It is difficult to learn when we already know.
