My definition of success
It has been a question I have explored for forty years, seeking to break down the cultural stories we have been imbued with.
What does success mean to me? On my terms.Â
This definition has changed over the years, not by much.Â
My definition of success goes something like this..
If I honour my highest truth at all times…
and get to spend my time doing work that adds value comprehensively…
with people who demonstrate beauty, integrity, and truth in all they do,
trusting at all times in the infinite wisdom of Universe…
While being my word to myself and others,Â
Investing in my health and the healthy ecologies and relationships that sustain me,
Remaining open of mind, heart and spirit, embracing change and new technologies,Â
Remaining forever curious, seeking adventure, and being present every day to the beauty of our world,
Daring to care about what matters more than my petty wants,Â
Challenging the status quo when it becomes corrupted,
Laughing exponentially more than I complain.
Treat all life as sacred, while also refusing to stand for Little Atrocities (https://syntropic.world/little-atrocities-the-path-from-integrity-to-self-deception-and-bad-business/)
And regularly getting to my knees in humility, owning my mistakes, and living in gratitude.
Then I am indeed successful.Â
What is your definition of success?
