Out to play
The pelican, the seagull and the fisherman. At the beach.
Reminding me that there is fun to be had in surprising ways.
Life wants novelty. Spontaneity. Surprise.
Too easy do I fall into the shadow of the serious.
Hard at work saving the world, or just surviving.
Time perhaps to bring out the child. Fall on the floor laughing. Chase the dog and the ball. Sing in the shower. Dance.
Everything we do creates a ripple in the field.
To beauty, add levity. And a touch of crazy irreverence.
