The unknown territory of sufficiency
How did it happen that to be sufficient, to have enough, to not require more, is to also declare that we are rebels in our own culture?Â
To name sufficiency as a prime value of a business is to also name the system we inhabit as counter to our values. Growth is an imperative of our capitalist economic model.
Can a business that seeks sufficiency thrive in the current economy?
To speak into the question of sufficiency across multiple domains…money, resources, knowledge, technology, well-being, stuff, relationships, time….as part of an edge practice is to speak to life the abundance we so often ignore in our hast for more.
