Transitions mean we are alive

Some transitions are best when smooth. For example, transitioning from first gear to second when driving a manual car.

Other transitions might flow seamlessly and in their own time. A baby transitioning from walking to crawling, effort required yet spontaneous.

Other transitions are a pattern interrupt. A whiplash type experience. Truth spoken that hits hard. Wake up calls of life. Sudden accidents.

Some transitions can be managed. Most happen outside of our control.

Transitions and change are, by their very nature, uncomfortable.

That space between what was and what is emerging can last a second, or years.

How we respond to the transition is always our choice. Fight it, or embrace it, transitions mean we are alive. Until our final transition.
