We must find meaning
Against the headwind of pain, we must find meaning.
Viktor Frankl wrote of this with so much more truth than I could ever, given he had survived four years of incarceration in a concentration camp in World War II.
Through the rubble of despair, the cruelty of others towards others and Earth, we must find meaning.
We must turn our face to beauty. To the dandelion determined to grow on barren land. To kindness and compassion.
Hold tight to meaning, to a deeper and perhaps larger purpose.
Hold tight to others who walk beside you. Resist the contraction of your heart.
Open it instead and let beauty in.
