Fore-giveness
To give before the act. To arrive holding the space that we are all doing the best we can with limited perspective. We know not what is the inciting incident behind someone’s actions.
That does not make it right. Or wrong. It does not deny justice.
It means walking the Earth refusing to carry the burden of being a victim, seeking vengeance, wanting revenge.
To give to ourselves before the act, to love the whole of us, to work to refine the blunt edges, the broken stories and unsustainable myths – this might be a place of lifetime practice.Â
In our self-love we create a field of grace for the whole.
