Life requires effort
Life requires effort. We need to meet it, to move towards it.
Be that making our bed, eating vital, healthy food, moving our body.
The moment we drop into apathy, a no-care zone, we begin to end the dynamism that is required for us and life to dance together.
Like most things, this apathy begins ever so slowly. And then quickly.
We might call it age. Or illness. Or the comfort of a marriage.
The thought..”I could not be bothered,” infects and builds deep roots.
Harder to pull the roots than to never have them take root in the first place.
