The most precious things of all

As I write, I have an eye on the ocean, where my beloved is catching waves.

Watching him in his home element fills me with such joy.

We just enjoyed a coffee together, the ocean as our backdrop.

Our practice has been to not do anything else but enjoy the coffee, enjoy each other’s company, and enjoy the moment as we drink. This practice is even more important now than ever. In a few days, this might not even be an option.

Simple things.

A hug. A small gathering of friends. Shared food and wine.

The most precious things of all.
