Does it matter?
That not everyone likes my work.
That my running fitness has dropped dramatically because of an injury?
That my dog threw up on the bed this morning?
Or my face is showing that I have lived more decades than I ever imagined when I was twenty?
Because this morning the sunrise needed to be witnessed to believe the many costumes nature provided her minimal audience.
And my love was with me to share the performance.
The gentle autumn wind is touching my skin, and the ocean before me is steady and constant.Â
I walk, I write, the bird song captures my attention.
Beauty, love…..I am nourished to my bones.
