To be closed is to shrivel on the vine

To be closed is to shrivel on the vine

Open.

To possibility.

To change.

To love.

To being challenged

To falling down.

Anything is possible when you are open.

Arrested.

Not trusting. Partial. Cautious. Cynical. Sceptical. Bruised.

Closed.

Possibility squeezed out.

No light.

A fundamentalist position.

Righteous.

Superior.

Blind.

Hard edges.

To be closed is to shrivel on the vine.

If to be open is too risky, too vulnerable, choose arrested, even of the most cynical kind.

Otherwise contract life, imagination, possibility and our own maturity.
