The truth will set you free but first it must be seen

I look back at my life and gasp at the number of times I believed something that I no longer believe.

We are all under the influence of spin, seduction and spell casting of some kind.

To see beyond the veil of illusion takes a commitment to truth and understanding, complicated by truths being partial and contextual. 

Absolute truths are rare. Gravity on Earth is an absolute truth. 

Laws of Nature – what Bucky Fuller called Generalised Principles – are true in all cases. (At least on our home planet.)

Knowing this, we might reconsider what we believe we know as absolute. It might be wise to hold the space for our minds to be changed in all things. 

As someone who loves being right, this practice can be extremely challenging. It is in that small place of uncertainty, or not knowing, that we find humility.
