Ego and Truth
Ego says I am right. Ego needs to be right. Ego out of control will manufacture any means to be right.
I know this egoic place. I do love being right. Righteous superiority is an old friend – one I am seeking to reign in.
Truth requires us to step over our own ego, our own desire for safety, our possible desire to remain in the wings, backstage.
Truth is about what is right. Speaking up for others who cannot.
Putting aside our need to be nice, liked, loved.
Truth requires courage. It asks us to take a stand.
When we speak for Truth, at that moment, ego is not present.
