Transformation requires exile from what we know
To disintegrate our certainty.
To question solid ground.
To be open to having our beliefs shattered.
Transformation is a shattering. We must be exiled from what we have known as true.
For this reason and others, we avoid its call.
Transformation will have its way with us. You cannot keep the bud tight. It seeks to open to the sun.
