Power, applied appropriately, needs responsibility and accountability

Many of us do not want that kind of responsibility. We do not want to be in the spotlight. We do not want to be in the firing line.

So we avoid stepping into leadership. 

Wonder why we have so many psychopathic leaders? Because those of us who actually do care for a world with a future so often do not step into the spotlight and take the reigns of power. A simple life, behind the curtains, feels better.

The psychopaths only care about themselves. They love the glory. Even the hate directed at them feeds them. And when they see a vacuum they seize it.

We, the people who genuinely care for a world that serves all creatures, need to step up, to take the reigns of power. 

If we do not, we have no right to complain about the soulless, heartless, vainglory leadership the world has now.
