Knowledge is a beautiful thing

In a world of fear and scarcity, we forget the abundance of so much value.

Knowledge can only increase. The more you have, the more there is to have.

Love, beauty, joy, laughter – these things are eternally generative.

When we enable all access to knowledge, when we open quality education to all, regardless of gender, background, pigment or ability, the entire world becomes richer. 

Those who have profited from the win-lose game of scarcity think otherwise. 

Knowledge is a beautiful thing. It comes with increasing wonder, reinforcing the desire for more knowledge. This is to be celebrated. 

Yet the game of win-lose seeks to deny knowledge access. Keeping people in the dark is a weapon of power. Ban books, stopping the education of girls, and hack out funding of public schools in favour of funding the elite private schools, are all deliberate strategies to keep people submissive.

Wonder, curiosity, knowledge, experience and asking questions are the doorways to wisdom.
