The little things

What a morning. 

I pay homage to the little things.

I can walk pain-free. 

I stop to get fresh food on the way home.

I do not live in terror of bombs, gunfire, or being randomly shot by an over-armed citizenry.

The air is clean. My drinking water is safe.

I have access to world-class health care simply because of my birth lottery.

I have love. I love. 

My love walks with me to witness the sunrise.

I cherish these little things. 

Every day I give thanks.

The little things are the bedrock of everything.
