Transmuting trauma

Transmuting trauma

Knowing you carry trauma in your biology, from whatever the traumatising incident, or epistemic generational trauma, is to know your trauma needs to be addressed.

Not everyone has the option to deliberately seek to get support in healing trauma. We must find easy, accessible and low-cost ways to heal trauma, allowing people to move beyond trauma into a fully accessible life. Our world traumatises thousands of people daily.

If you can, attending to trauma is critical for the future well-being of humanity. When large parts of our interior are fractured through trauma, we cannot participate in a whole system’s well-being way in projects and with the community.

Our trauma leads. Loaded with suspicion, passive aggression, and protectionism – all understandable – unhealed trauma makes it hard for people to be with each other.

When we recognise the status of our inner victim and how we have allowed victimhood to occupy our being, we might look deeper into the hidden box that holds trauma. The box needs to be opened. Ideally, by a trauma specialist. The trauma needs light and air.

Not to be faced in solitude. Held with love. Refused permission to metastasise.

The profound work of transforming human relationships by transmuting trauma.
