This day will never come again

A “Sky Full of Stars” plays, the cafe is a buzz, the coffee hot and made with love.

The father with his young children looks in awe at the artisan pastries fresh from the oven.

People meet and share hugs.

And I sit, hair wet from the ocean swim, bare feet, happily fatigued after a long run.

A new day gets her groove on.

This day will never come again.

This day.

This day…will never come again.
