Not a whisper of hope
We all reach a place where holding on by our fingernails is no longer possible.
We have to let go.
We have to let the effort of holding on dissolve.
We must be willing to fall back into the nothingness.
Not knowing if there will be anything there to support our fall.
No longer even trusting, because we have let go of trust.
This, to do this, is surrender.
Not a whisper of hope, no guarantees.
