A great coach
Great coaches do not care about being seen as nice. They know that being liked and respected is something you earn over time.
I hire a coach so that my BS no longer rules my life. I want to be more whole, stronger, braver, better.
I want to be held to account. To be asked to do the seemingly impossible.
I want my coach to hold a space for me to step into, one that is more than I imagined.
A great coach doesn’t do this if they are afraid of being liked by their client. They do not care about being perceived as ‘nice.’
What they care about is their client stepping into the most powerful expression of themselves.
The tension required to hold this space is where the real work happens. Intention is strong.
They see the future self already present in their client well before the client sees it in themselves.
Steward leaders are great coaches.
