A rare occurrence

Sometimes, the best team does win.

Even when cards are stacked against them through corruption and biased refereeing.

That is all we want, isn’t it? If we are in a game of win-lose, which is the current game humans play. (I was going to write humankind, but the word kind seems to be far out of place.)

A level playing field, where the best are able to rise through genuine effort and skill. And in a team sport, the extra coherence that must be there for a win. Total team one mind, no individual players, no superstars given platforms. One Team. 

It is a rare occurrence.

Even rarer that the team itself stands for human rights and multiculturalism. 

The game of life has been rigged for so long, keeping so many people down, unable to even raise their heads high enough to get breathing room. Or food. 

What we must do against the deliberate attempt to keep us divided is to come together with common coherence. For values that matter. Justice. All human dignity. Decency. Respect for all life. Kindness. Diversity. Love.
