Another day
People starving to death in Gaza. More people assassinated as they seek aid.Â
Another day.
World-sanctioned cruelty, genocide and horror.Â
Another day.
Limp wristed responses from my government and a handful of others.
Another day.
We listen to the news. We hear denial after denial after denial. So many denials that it becomes impossible to trust the source. Indeed, rage against the source of denial mounts. They are the terrorists, how can we not think otherwise?Â
Another day.
The accusations of anti this and that amplified by the deniers, blind (*&^%!!!) to the fact that their actions are creating the anti response.
And the next day, more horror.Â
How many will it take? How many children starving to death? How many children, their limbs blown off, blind, all their family lost, no food?
How many?Â
People of the world are not stupid. Their governments and mine might be beholden to some mythical, nonsensical belief about who or what is right.Â
But we are not stupid.Â
I have lost all respect for the state committing these atrocities. All.Â
I am not alone. Unless you have unpicked your humanity and become cruelty personified, then it is impossible to feel a rising level of horror at the actions of Israel and the people who cheer the horror.Â
How many more days, how many more dead will it take?Â
This question has been asked throughout history. The people perpetrating this horror were once longing for the world to notice the horror perpetrated on them.
Yet here we are again.Â
