Ask for what you need to be brilliant

I think about the conditions that make me shine the fullness of my light.

I have the logistics around me to allow my focus to be where it needs to be. On the service I am delivering.

Equipment doesn’t have to be perfect, yet it does have to work.

I have people who trust me in the wings. They have my back and are on call if I need anything.

I am well-slept and well-nourished. 

The people I serve are open-hearted and open-minded, and ask courageous questions.

The better the questions, the better I become.

When we know the conditions that allow us to shine our light, we can do our best to reproduce the conditions.

Say no to those who bring a closed heart and mind. Create the safety for people to ask amazing questions that push the envelope.

Too many times, I have watched people step into new roles without what they need to succeed in place. Sometimes, these obstacles can be overcome. But if possible, ask for what you need to be brilliant.
