“When I am working on a problem, I never think about beauty…….. but
when I have finished, if the solution is not beautiful, I know it is
wrong.”  R. Buckminster Fuller

I love business. I love that people can offer amazing service doing something they love that contributes value to the world. I love the creativity, the genius of business. I love how business can inspire, uplift, challenge, evolve. How it can do more with less. Give people community, connectivity, opportunity.

I love it when you go into a business, as a stranger, and are blown away by the service and care. Or when you go back, again and again, and the service never falters, or if it does, the business is quick to make amends, through their actions.

I love business that considers the whole and not just the parts…that has a commitment to long term, to deep care. To love.

These type of businesses are gems. And sadly, they are rare.

Beauty and business are partners. If a business is not beautiful, if it doesn’t evoke a sense of awe at its beauty, then it is a shadow of its possible self.

And this is the tragedy. The soul of a business wants to be as fully expressed as you or I do. We, as the leaders and stewards, block this expression at almost every turn.

When I look around the world I see millions of businesses yearning to be all they can be. And I see millions of people yearning to be engaged in business that is beautiful.

Beauty begets beauty. It is hard to look at a sunrise and not feel awe. It is hard to experience a beautiful business and not feel love.

Isn’t that what we all want?

Lets go create beautiful business.
