Do we want our sons and daughters to behave like him

Do we want our sons and daughters to behave like him

Airdrops of aid are not necessary. Just open the gates to aid.

Yet it is easy to believe air dropping aid is better than nothing, even though it is very dangerous, and doesn’t allow for equitable distribution. So in our genocide and starvation stimulated nervous system, we exhale as if aid drops are good.

It is a political gesture without an ounce of substance behind it, an attempted appeasement to the growing number of humans turning against the actions of Israel.

Like the Epstein files, it will not go away. The cruelty, the continued settler colonialism, is squarely at the feet of public opinion.

Streamed live.

A convicted sex offender and felon forces the European Union to bend the knee, just after being caught on screens cheating at golf, as if cheating at golf would come as any surprise.

I think about mothers and fathers in 2025 raising their children. Do they teach them manners, to respect women, to clean after themselves, contribute to a household, do chores, get pocket money for contribution rather than ‘because?’ Are the boundaries strong and clear? We think about others, especially those with lesser means and luck (yes, luck, even by birthright or skin colour) than us. There are consequences for our actions and choices. Some of those consequences will really affect you.

I watch an old man who cheats at golf, marriage and business continue to get away with everything, which only increases his entitlement and arrogance, as well as his crimes.

Do we want our sons and daughters to behave like him? Or like those who stand on the belief of superiority over other, to the point that any form of cruelty and crime is acceptable.

The world we watch and live in is created by all of us. By how we live, act and respond. How we raise our kids. How we treat each other.

Enough pressure from the people, enough protest, and the tide will tip. That is on us. It’s a long game. And continuous. No respite.

It starts inside, then at home, and ripples through every action.

Do not be sucker punched by sham gestures. Keep the pressure up.
