Every one of us needs to change to have this culture of domination change
We must end the strongman leader archetype.
If we want peace and dignity for all humans.
The bully, the predator, the manipulator, the spin doctor.
Too long have they ruled the affairs of Earth.
To see an image of all-men around a table of power, to have men fill the halls of government. Still these images are everywhere.
It has to change if we want a more respectful world.
Each of us must look to how we continue to prop up this dominating culture.
Mothers must look to how they raise their sons and daughters. Women must know how we have been captivated by the story to maintain the status quo by seeking perfection, living in body shame, demurring, smiling when we are told to, being polite.
The fabric must rip. Rage is good. Rage at what we have accepted as normal.
Every one of us needs to change to have this culture of domination change.
The seeds that keep it alive lie in all of us. Root them out.
