Far ahead of their time
So many amazing people saw the patterns of change well ahead of time. Decades, half centuries in advance.
Gandhi. Bucky Fuller. Margaret Fuller. Mandela. And many more lesser know, or even never-to-be-known people.
They knew that the future they held brightly might never be seen in their lifetime.
That the vision they held was worthy of action. Today. Tomorrow. Relentlessly.
With love. Dedication. A fierce and tender commitment.
Knowing that their relevance might only be seen as an afterthought they persisted each day to act towards this future.
Fame was not of interest unless it served a purpose towards the change.
The path they took was invariably rocky. Many times very dangerous. Often at the cost of their own life.
On this day I bow to those who dedicated their life, their work, their heart and soul, to a more beautiful world, one where all of life is seen as sacred.
