First we must realise that we oppress ourselves
When we change how we show up in life, everything changes
This isn’t new age hocus-pocus. It is physics and math.
If we are charged, which could include states of anger, helplessness, victimhood, insecurity or apathy, the field around us responds to that charge.
Anger seeds anger. Helplessness seeds helplessness.
If we change our charge, if we switch from anger to hope, from helplessness to action, everything changes in our field.
This is our power and our freedom. Many who cry for freedom are expecting the change to come from the other, as if the other is the oppressor.
First we must realise that we oppress ourselves.
Only then can the work of change happen.
