Fools are we – humans
To even think for one moment that we have dominion over Earth.
Mother Earth only ever works as a whole, fully integrated, interdependent organism. She knows that when we violate a part, we affect the whole.
Her purpose is to enable the increased well-being of all her creatures, all of life.
I watch as the ocean relentlessly breaks through the man-made walls. As the water rises once again in areas devastated by floods earlier this year. As millions or billions of humans will have to face the need to move from where they live.
All the while, a lettuce outlives a Prime Minister’s tenure.
