From generosity
When we give with an open heart, absent any expectation of a return, we are simultaneously making a declaration to the world that we have plenty.
Generosity is one of the most grace-filled acts.
Greed arises from lack and fear. It is an affirmation to the world of emptiness within.
We can indeed have lack in many areas. Yet to give from generosity is still possible.
The paradox is many people with plenty are greedy, while many people with lack are generous.
The source of this paradox can be found in the codes and institutions of our culture.
There is enough to go around.
