Good people

Good people

Stand aaingst injustice

Refuse to be silent

Know that they will be targeted

And are willing to pay the price.

There are so many good people in the world.

On one side of the world, I applaud Australian Cartoonist, Cathy Wilcox. (https://www.cathywilcox.com.au/) Her cartoon from yesterday has captured the ire of the Israeli  Zionist lobby. She has been savaged for it. We have terrible racism in Australia. But to focus on one type of racism as exceptional will never address the root of racism. That is a performative contradiction. Exceptionalism is the problem.

On the other side of the world, Renee Good gave her life to speak against the terror of the ICE agents in Minnesota. No amount of obfuscation can hide the terrible assassination of this woman.

These two women are but a fraction of those who speak out, protest, are imprisoned and killed for standing up against injustice.

I honour them both, I honour you all.
