The invisible structures that code our society insist that we measure everything, and then put a monetary price on it.

Tell me how to price care. Genuine care is not a transaction. It comes from generosity, spontaneity, and investment in that which we care about.

Care invites relationship, and relationships are the fabric of existence.

Without being in relationship we are lost.

The primary relationship we have with ourselves. Our self-talk, how we value our being. A relationship that needs tendering and attention.

Against the prevailing mythology of the rugged solo hero, we are a zero point without relationship with others. 

And the relationship with our greater world and all her creatures.

Care is an irreducible value.

As is love, beauty and kindness.

We humans have inverted our value system to put stuff and accumulation above what matters most. To attempt, again and again, to put the precious into the economy.

If we want our home planet to have a thriving future, we must reverse our value system and honour the sacred, the immeasurable, the beautiful – first – and without apology.

This is the purpose of Synergistic Accounting. To account for the whole value of everything.
