It might not make sense ever

It might not make sense ever

It might not make sense ever

Life will shake us to our core. It will turn us upside down, inside out, round about.

We will break down. Break up. Fall apart.

No one gets the fun park ride without the mess.

Happiness doesn’t exist without the intensity of knowing bone-deep sadness.

When we are in the thick of our own dark night…when dawn feels aeons away…it might help to know these things.

The path we are on has been walked by many who not only lived to tell the tale, but thrived from the journey, eventually.

It might not make sense ever.

What feels impossible, hopeless, endless….will find possibility and hope and will end.

Embrace vulnerability and reach out and ask for help. To be offered a hand, to be witnessed, to be held with love…will make a difference.

A step taken forward, in any direction, is better than no step.

Honour the small and big steps taken as your affirmation of the future you want to inhabit.
