Never too old
If you had told my bright-eyed thirty-year-old self that I would find the most incredible love in my late fifties, the kind of love that I did not see possible, now 3 years on and getting stronger, I would have certainly rolled my eyes in disbelief.
If you had also said that this would simultaneously be the time I started the work I had prepared for my whole life, I would have found that strange and somewhat cruel. That I had to endure for so long to begin the main act.
That this would be the time I would take up a very difficult-to-learn sport – surfing – never in a million years!
That I would fall in love with van life, travelling searching for waves, a simple existence.
More alive today, more in love today, more in gratitude today than ever before.
Pushing the envelope of learning, technology, loving, life.
