Nothing much changes until someone cares enough to build an alternative

Nothing much changes until someone cares enough to build an alternative

Often that care is built off the desiccated bones of heartbreak. Indeed, we might look to our heartbreak to know the measure of our care and our willingness to act.

Often our heartbreak is created by events out of our control.

Yet in the larger scheme of things, perfection, timing and sequence play their hand.

The greater mystery of the heartbreak that gives us the impulse and tenacity to act for change defies rational and reasonable arguments.

Next time you meet someone dedicating their lives to change for the better, know that the scaffolding that holds them up and keeps them going against the odds is built on experiences etched into their soul.

And when you pass a mirror, look into your own eyes and acknowledge the same.

We are the change-makers. Our lives to this path have been forged in a crucible that often leaves us no choice.

Yet in our actions, there is great joy and ultimate liberation. We know the power of the individual to lead change. The refinement of all that is not towards this path is purifying. We become the transmission.
