One fine morning

One fine morning

Dolphins surfed the waves.

A White Bellied Sea Eagle surveyed his kingdom from a tree by the shore.

An Oyster Catcher feasted in the dawn light.

This is our world. It is beautiful. I am filled with awe.

As I walk the shore I think about humans treating this glorious living being, our Gaia, with such arrogant disdain.

I am the Dolphin, the Eagle, the Oyster Catcher.

We are the creatures, we are creatures.

We have forgotten our place in the ecology we live.

Mother Nature has not. She will bring us to our knees to enable remembering to leak from our bones.

The tragedy is those who pay the highest price will be those who did the least damage. We must account for our past and present history as we navigate a way into a future where humans remember we are Nature and everything is interconnected.
