Pardoning corruption

Pardoning corruption

Oh how far we have fallen. One corrupt leader seeks to force another corrupt leader’s country to pardon him.

The White House produces a video, surely a parody, of daddy returning home, after a European ‘leader’ puts Trump and daddy in the same sentence. The sycophancy of global ‘leaders’ to appease daddy is disgusting. Oh for brilliant humanity, where art thou?

Yet people who have done nothing criminal except seek a better life, people who pay their taxes, work hard, and are often the ones cleaning the toilets of those who seek their removal, are treated like vermin.

The law is in shreds. International Law is a laughing stock. My country is selective in its response to how International law is applied. For them, but not for the other thems.

Where is the backbone of dignity in leadership?

Where is leadership?

Even more than leadership, where is compassion? Justice?

Do these elected representatives not care? Where is their courage?

Do they not realise that their people look at them now in contempt?

Contempt and now a complete absence of trust.

I see some light. We have to fight for it, for the light. For the good, the true and the beautiful.

To completely untangle from the purchased politicians and their masters. For the captains of industry who just want to screw everything for more profit.

Each morning I wake up in Australia, where it is around 2 PM in Washington, DC, and I am terrified of opening the newsfeed to discover what heinous act occurred while I slept.

The real issue is that the assault is so normal, it has become normalised.
