Poverty is a political choice
It always has been.
The wealthy need low-paid workers to do the shit jobs.
A new study of some 50,000 households in 1,000 archaeological sites worldwide reveals that wealth inequality is both a political and governance choice.

Ah, with our addiction to technology, and our bro club bravado, perhaps we could focus our energy on removing the need for low-paid workers to do the shit jobs, and instead give all people access to excellent education and the opportunity to do soul-nourishing work that pays well?
But that is unlikely to feed the venture capital frenzy that demands greedy returns on investment.
And there you have it. Poverty is a political and governance decision. This is why the Global South developing countries have not been allowed to progress under progressive elected leaders. The West has assassinated them or deposed them, and racked the countries with impossible debt so that the country remains poor and will by necessity do the shit jobs.
‘But tech will save us!’
BS. Tech today is just a weapon for more lopsided wealth while maintaining the dehumanised people to do the shit jobs.
Nothing will save us except a complete dismantling of our current operating system, replacing it with an operating system coded by Nature and serving an increased well-being for all life. This is our work at Syntropic World. Not easy, or for the faint-hearted. Playing the long game.
