Puzzles
I am not a person who likes playing games for fun. Jigsaws, board games, cards. Not for me.
But give me a puzzle that solves a problem in the world and I am in my happy place. Lost down a rabbit hole. Knowing there is a solution. Figuring it out. Asking for help. Relentless and determined.
The result – things are better for others. Their experience is better. Something opens up.
It is one of the many reasons I like baking. I will work on a recipe for years sometimes. Baking of course is chemistry. With a twist of alchemy. Ingredients, temperature, sequence – all important.
There is a joy in making things better, in puzzling things out.
We can look at the work we have done and know the taste of satisfaction, persistence and belief.
