Redefining Wealth Towards a Syntropic World
Perhaps it is time to do this. To consider deeply what wealth actually is, who is wealthy, and how, by changing our interpretation and perception of wealth, we might, similarly to the shift from Earth as the centre of the Universe theory, and the small blue dot, engage with life entirely differently.
Bucky Fuller defined wealth as;
Our organised capability to cope effectively with the environment in sustaining our healthy regeneration and decreasing both the physical and metaphysical restrictions of the forward days of our lives.
And further,
We can account for wealth more precisely as the number of forward days for a specific number of people we are physically prepared to sustain at a physically stated time and space liberating level of metabolic and metaphysical regeneration.
If we consider wealth this way, as Spaceship Earth, we are in a human-induced accelerated acceleration of entropy, decay, decline.
Yet knowledge, love, care, joy, generosity, kindness, synergy…are all Syntropic…the more you love, the more knowledge you share, the more there is. There is no scarcity.
As the ‘wealthy’ countries emerge from their introspective time, as those who have had centuries of a metaphorical knee on their neck…people of colour, women, girls, those born into lack, or with physical or mental challenges…we might seek to focus on the number of forward days for all people to be regenerative to increase exponentially.
Our brilliant minds, deployed synergistically, have every potential to do this.
