Rethinking Contracts for Human Relational Design
An agreement where everything both parties are seeking to give and receive from the relational engagement is named. All of it, right down to the smallest expectation.
This is the starting place of the relationship. Capturing it all. Speaking to each other about the exchange in multiple domains, including the domains of feeling, culture and the long term.
From the beginning of the relationship, we use this as a template to build on the quality of the relationship.
How are we going with meeting your expectations? Are we delivering? Is there something missing? Do you desire to bring more, or less to the relationship or partnership?
The agreement provides the template for relational depth to grow as we work together.
It leaves nothing that wants to be on the table off the table.
It provides the platform for ongoing conversations that add to the dimensions and quality of the relationship. It ensures that at no time any one party is feeling out of exchange in the relationship.
