Self Restraint
To say no to a desire that is in contradiction to what we truly desire.
The tug of the instant feeling of satisfaction prevents the future we want.
To act with self-restraint is to be a disciple unto the self.
In a world that profits from addiction and consumption, self restrain becomes a sacred act, an act of defiance.
It is also a declaration to the world that we have enough.
