Spell Cast
Most of my earlier life I was so easily spell cast. The pattern was the same. A super intelligent, charismatic male.
They would weave their web over me and many others, convincing us to join their cause, promote them, put them on a platform of greatness.
In one case the seduction was physical, with the softly spoken words of being separated from his wife declared. Given his stature in a community I trusted, I believed him.
We have to be porous to be seduced. To have holes in our self regard, our self belief, our own wisdom.
We have to want what they have, and in the wanting dismiss what we have, who we are.
We desire the promise they offer. To be a part of the tribe, community, inner sanctum. To be a part of something.
The tools of contemporary spell casting have become so refined, years and years of experimentation, testing, data. We, the subjects, unaware.
A spell is something to wake from. To see ourselves cast, and in the objective, witnessing view, to recognise that we are not being fully ourselves. Part of us pushes down the whisper, the urgent tug of our Soul saying beware.
It has happened to us all. The sweet talk of a business partner. The smooth seduction of a lover. The purr of a politician. The innocent manipulation of a child.
If there is an antidote its flavour is our own self love, self regard, self esteem. Our refusal to put anyone on a pedestal, including our self. To conquer our devil of superiority….the one that wants to be special, different, famous, dominant, separate. To know the broken part of us that does feel separate, isolated, alone….our vulnerability…so easily seduced.
And to create from the beginning, clear, non porous boundaries.
If you are creating a business partnership, or any other form of partnership, and want a clear agreement of engagement, consider the Syntropic Enterprise Masterclass. Our next cohort commences this week.https://syntropic.world/masterclass/
