The birds sing no matter what my mood
Nature meditates us.
The wild wind begs me to release all my accumulated angst.
The falling rain washes the pollutant projections of stories that are not mine.
The sun dissolves tightness.
Into the ocean I submit unanswered questions.
To the sky I connect with a vastness that I simply cannot fathom.
The birds sing no matter what my mood.
And the tree bears witness to the arc of time that stills my current painful episode, reminding me again that this too will pass.
In awe of nature as she weaves her magic – asking nothing in return.
